About the conference

The International Conference of Crime and Strategic Analysis LEAF 2022 (Law Enforcement Analysis of the Future) organized by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.

 

 

 

 

The conference is addressed to the law enforcement agencies representatives, scientific community and independent experts who deal with the subject of strategic and crime analysis. The National Crime Agency (the Great Britain) and analysts from other countries, independent OSINT experts, military representatives and Polish scientists have already confirmed their presence on the LEAF 2022 Conference. The speeches will be devoted to: prediction of criminal behaviour systems, behavioral cybercrime analysis, cybercrime as a phenomenon, anti-money laundering systems, cryptocurrencies and using of IT systems and tools to criminal activity mapping and implementing them to give directions to law enforcement activities.

Day 2 of the conference will be dedicated to the current geopolitical situation  in Ukraine in the context of strategic, financial and criminal analysis. These include topics such as identifying sanctioned properties (asset tracking), sanctions avoidance monitoring and actions that should be taken by law enforcement agencies to draw conclusions from this geopolitical situation for the future. We will ask Partners from The National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) to share during this day their experience in data analysis in current Ukrainian challenging wartime conditions.

During this day international dimension of business operations featuring the good sides but also all the drawbacks connected with the above mentioned situation will be dealt with.

Day 3 will be dedicated to criminal analysis, its methods and forms that are used in this area and digital forensics.

Representatives of the law enforcement authorities, academia and independent experts, dealing with the subject of strategic and crime analysis in the broadest sense, are invited to participate in the conference.

Speakers

Marcin Wojtysiak-Kotlarski, DSc, ProfTit, Warsaw School of Economics

Professor, SGH Warsaw School of Economics
Marcin Wojtysiak-Kotlarski is a professor at the Warsaw School of Economics, with which he has been associated for more than 28 years, first as a student, then as a lecturer. He is involved in teaching and supervising the theses of students and doctoral students. He carries out numerous research works and performs a number of roles of an organizational nature. He is head of the Department of International Strategy at the Institute of Management within the College of Management and Finance, SGH. From an early age, he has been passionate about the geography of the world, the beauty resulting from its economic, social, cultural diversity. While conducting scientific research, he is interested in the world economy, including in particular the world of companies competing in the global market. His scientific interests are multidisciplinary, pursued at the intersection of economics and management science. He has conducted research and published mainly in the following areas: theory of the firm, strategic management, globalization of business, megaproject management, and modern entrepreneurship and the world of start-ups. He is the main initiator of the "Mazovia as a gas pedal of global businesses" grant, which won the Gospostrateg III competition funded by the National Center for Research and Development. This is currently the largest project underway at SGH in consortium with the Marshal's Office of the Mazovian Voivodeship and the Warsaw Stock Exchange. A team of about 40 researchers from Poland and the United States is working on the project, which is constantly evolving. Marcin Wojtysiak-Kotlarski is also interested in business school management. At SGH, he manages the projects of the two most important international accreditations for business schools, namely EQUIS and AACSB.
